MV Careers
Who the Virtual Career Hub Is For....
This is for teenagers who are thinking:
-
“I don’t want to make the wrong choice.”
-
“Everyone keeps asking what I want to do...but I don’t even know where to start.”
-
“What if my grades aren't good enough?”
And for parents who want:
-
Career clarity for their teen, without guessing
-
Guidance that ensures readiness, not just a degree
What MV Careers Virtual Hub actually helps you do
This isn't about picking a degree.
It’s about learning how to make career decisions, with context, confidence, and real-world insight. 👉Before you commit time, money, and identity to a path that doesn’t fit.
Inside the Hub, students learn how to:
-
understand themselves beyond grades
-
explore careers through employer and entrepreneur insight
-
build confidence in how to decide, not just what to choose
-
have better conversations with parents about the future
-
prepare for work, not just university
Why this is different...
Most career guidance:
-
happens too late
-
is driven by university pathways
-
rewards high grades and ignores readiness
-
leaves students anxious and overwhelmed
MV Careers is different because:
-
It runs outside school hours with no academic pressure
-
It’s strategy-led, not degree-led
-
It’s human-guided, not AI
-
It focuses on readiness, not rankings
Career decisions are complex. This Hub treats them that way.

Program Designer & Founder,
Why I built MV Careers
I’ve worked with students across K–12, university, and adult learning and I’ve seen how early career decisions shape confidence, opportunity, and long-term wellbeing.
I’m the founder of MV Careers, the author of Empowerment for Teens, a published scholar, and my research focuses on career development, youth, and employment.
But more than my titles or qualifications, my work with students is grounded in years of teaching, career development theory, and hundreds of conversations with global employers and professionals across industries.
The MV Careers Virtual Hub focuses on career readiness and strategy not pressure, or grades.
