MV Careers
Do you worry that AI is taking jobs and your child won't be ready to make the right choice?
Contrary to what most parents want to believe, career decisions are being made earlier than ever for students in school. The problem I'm seeing is that students aren't given any industry context and rarely have access to real career stories.
In a rapidly changing world of work, making career decisions needs to be strategic and we are still expecting students to choose subjects and degrees without fully understanding how those choices connect to real-work-contexts.

This clarity call will help you ask Ms.V the questions you have for your child's future and how the Career Hub will help your child navigate their career decision-making. This call is designed to help you feel more confident to start the career conversation with your teen at home.
In this clarity call you'll walk away with...
Understanding why your child may struggle to choose careers before university.

The 3 steps your child will take in the first week inside the Hub that will help them immediately.

Clarity around how the program is designed to help your child in high school and into young adulthood.

Learn how parents get guidance, training, and support inside the Hub.
This clarity call is ideal if:
-
Your teen isn't sure what they want to study.
-
You want to guide your teen without putting pressure on them.
-
You want your teen to explore careers before choosing a degree.
Meet Maria Vitoratos (AKA: Ms.V)
Hi, I’m Ms.V!
I’m a career strategist, educator, and doctoral researcher focused on youth career readiness. Since 2008, I've worked with thousands of students in high school, university preparing, and I also supported employers recruiting young talent for internships, and fresh graduates beginning their first job.

As a Gen Xer, I grew up listening to people’s stories around the kitchen table with conversations about work, sacrifice, change, life, and decisions made under pressure. Now, I use my lived experience, my education, and doctoral research, to create career readiness programs that help my students BE READY for the future-of-work.
Here's what no one is telling you (or your child), choosing a career has never been just about a job; it's a complex decision shaped by life experiences, resilience, and essential strategies. Sadly, students are taught that their degree will be a career strategy; and that is wrong.

Solving youth unemployment in a disrupted AI world, sits at the heart of my work. I’m deeply committed to helping students be ready and relevant in their future career.

"Just because most adults haven't figured out their career yet, doesn't mean that's the right strategy for your teen."
Two wrongs don't make a right.
