Maria Vitoratos

#STRONG is a social project founded and created by Maria Vitoratos to support youth worldwide.  October 10th, 2019, brought a great tragedy to Maria's family when her eldest 21-year-old daughter died unexpectedly.  Grief brought deep sadness and a great amount of concern that, like Dania, many other youth may also be struggling with feeling lost, confused and disconnected from strong real role models.  #STRONG is a platform that stands firm in family, connection and community. 

 

As a Youth Advocate, Maria strives to support the youth, their families and their communities by bringing global citizens together to share their life stories with the hope of inspiring and motivating resilience and a knowing that someone, somewhere in the world, understands their struggle and they too can make it through.
